NEW RECORDS, THE BEST CLOSING OF 52nd AAC
Sunday morning began with warming up of competitors who again defied the black clouds. After the first races in classes AA Old Timer and AA Classic that closed yesterday late afternoon program, same one had the honour to open officially final racing day and to warm up in the best possible way the track and the audience for an exciting afternoon.
In the category AA Classic three classes was ridden, cl.500 was won by German rider Bernd Pollmann, in the cl.OPEN winner was Sandro Baumann from Switzerland and the class SPECIAL was won by Croatian representative Emil Mokrovčak. The Old Timer category was ridden in two classes; 250 in which Silverio Pignatti celebrated, and Class 500 at which celebrated once again Sandro Baumann.
First part of the competition before official opening ended in the best possible way with a victory of Croatian motorcycling sport and young Ivan Višak in the class AA 125 GP SP + 250 with final time 16:19,754 and in class 125 SP with victory of Alex Radman and time 18;18,835.
With the official opening at 12:47 began the races in the most powerful classes. First race announced good results. In SUPERSTOCK600 Jaroslav Cerny broke the record with time 1:31,156 .InSUPERSTOCK1000 Fabrizio Pellizzon was again brilliant with time 1:29,798 while Marko Jerman in class SUPERSPORTbeat last year record of Boštrjan Pintar with new best time 1:30,422,and Mr. Igor Eškinja took the opportunity to deliver him right before the start a plaque for last year's absolute record of the track – fastest ridden lap in 2009 on our race track.
Three-day event ended with the most attractive race SUPERBIKE and Fabrizia Pellizon celebrated again on victory podium with time 18:08,425.
Besides scoring races of AAC also races for Croatian, Austrian, Slovenian and TriVeneto province championships were ridden. Detailed results are available at RACE / ALPE ADRIA / Results. Successfully completed
52nd Alpe Adria is the best introduction for the upcoming championship in June (19– 20.06.2010).
