WHAT IS GROBNIK PORSCHE TRAINING OF SAFE DRIVING?

This training is not a training of sport or fast driving. The goal of the course is to show participants how to promptly recognize hazards, how to prevent them or avoid them, and which driving techniques can help them in avoiding such situations.
This course allows participants to learn many new things about driving a car, their own experiences and the experiences of other students, and to discuss it. All the questions about driving or cars will be cleared directly with the instructor. The course shows examples of the different traffic situations, with detailed description, and to get the answers to all important questions this training is the right place for it.

PROGRAM:

Training of safe driving is divided into basic, advanced and specialized program, and is intended for all categories of drivers who want to improve their driving skills, in other words, this is a level higher than the driving schools.
One of the important things when arriving at a TSD is that a driver applicant has a driver's license for at least a year and has driven at least 10 000 km, which would mean that his/her driving became unconscious. These conditions will allow him to attend the basic course, and to adopt new knowledge much easier.
Grobnik Porsche TSD is a one-day course -eight hours of active work, which includes theoretical part on the beginning, and six modules of practical exercises, in a designated training area. The practical part includes the following exercises:

• Proper seating and control
• Braking at different speeds
• Braking on two different surfaces
• Avoiding obstacles  
• Understeer and oversteer  
• Simulating of driving in snow and ice conditions

Each of these exercises is to copy some critical situations in traffic, and before the execution is theoretically and practically explained and demonstrated by the instructor. During the exercises, there is the constant presence of the instructor, who is leading the participants on the proper execution of the exercises. Most of the exercises are performed on wet or slippery surfaces so that they could be implemented with lower speeds. In this way it is easier to simulate the critical situation and to correct the possible errors of the participants.. Upon completion of the practical part follows the final word of the instructor and the division of the certificates for attending TSD.
